Sarab Kala Samrath is a biographical documentary on the life and times of His Holiness Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji, the15th Guru of the Namdhari Sikhs. Designed and executed as a musical, the documentary is divided into 6 major sections, chronicling the history and times of His Holiness from his birth in 1920 through to the present day.
Filmed on location at, Sri Bhaini Sahib, Distt. Ludhiana, Punjab, India, the documentary tries to explore the various facets of His Holiness. Employing archival footage and photographs from the times of Sri Satguru Partap Singh Ji, the previous Guru to give it a historical perspective, the documentary also features interviews with Pandit Rajan and Sajan Mishra – Classical Singers, Ustad Vilayat Ali Khan – Sitar Maestro, Thakur Uday Singh, Chairman & CEO – Namdhari Seeds, Sant Harpal Singh, Personal Aide to His Holiness and others giving an insight to His Holiness Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji’s life.
