For the last nine years, an annual classical music festival has been held at Bhaini Sahib. This year, its 10th edition, was held from November 25 to 27, and as every year since 2012, was an eagerly awaited event by Indian Classical music enthusiasts in not just Punjab, but all over India and around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Under the able guidance of Sri Satguru Uday Singh Ji, the <strong>1st Satguru Jagjit Singh Shastriya Sangeet Pratiyogita<\/strong> is a new addition and it is a Indian Classical Music Competition. It has turned out to be a nationwide vocal music contest, with 165 participants. Held in Delhi and successful candidates in the junior and senior categories, headed to Sri Bhaini Sahib for the final rounds and the grand finale on 22 &amp; 23 November 2022. In the grand finale, each participant sang a raga of choice for around 12 minutes. It was judged by vocalist Pt Ajoy Chakraborty.
